As a guy, from what I can tell, it seems that the term "orgasm" is, at times, being used interchangeably with the term "ejaculation", by some folks out there.  The two events are really two distinct things from a purely physiological standpoint -- but ones that typically occur at roughly the same time during sex.

An ejaculation is just that--where semen squirts from our penises.  It feels good, for sure, and can vary greatly from guy to guy in how it looks and feels to the ladies while its happening.  Guys, (ladies, listen in, too, in case you were curious about this), if you've never had a wet dream, it is a very calm event.  It is an ejaculation while you are asleep, or just on the verge of consciousness.  There is no clenching or tingling of extremities, no heavy breathing, no change in heart rate, or any other thing that can occur during an orgasm.  In fact, a wet dream is kind of nice in the fact that, even though you may be half awake, you can feel the sweetness of your penis throbbing as semen shoots through it.  That is the only thing you feel while it is happening.

By comparison, the feeling of an ejaculation that occurs during a typical "full-body" orgasm, as I like to call it, seems to "blend in" with all of the other physical manifestations (as I mentioned above) that take over my body during an orgasm.  It is just a key part of the total male orgasm experience.

In summary, to me at least, an "orgasm" is both a mind and body experience -- as I would imagine it is with the ladies.  An "ejaculation" is a very pleasant body-only experience -- not to diminish the importance of the act of ejaculating, which I think is a very important part of male sexuality -- perhaps more important in some situations than how the male orgasm feels to us.
